Wyatt is doing well.He is still very heavily sedated to give the repair time to heal. They are slowly reducing his oxygen level as his lungs begin to work. They removed the IV in his head and the one in his belly button. They have also begun giving him nutrients through an IV line which is the precursor to introducing food to his system. The fluid they put in during surgery is draining off very well. They will monitor him for awhile to see how he tolerates the changes. If all goes well a few more will be made. He is still in the critical window but we are hopeful that it will pass uneventfully. I’ll keep you up dated as things change.
